Euthanasia is never justified do you agree Essay The issue of Euthanasia is a moral issue, and as with all moral issues there are two sides to every story. Euthanasia is the ending of somebodys life, generally as an attempt to end suffering. When it is discussed, people often mean Voluntary Euthanasia that is a form of aided suicide (which means someone performs the suicide for someone who is unable to.) Some people believe Euthanasia is a crime and is therefore not justified.These people believe that the act of Euthanasia is going against Gods will, and these people generally follow the bible, which also states this. 1 Corinthians 6:19 claims that our bodies are Gods temple, therefore meaning that the ending of a life means the damaging of a part of God. Also, Genesis 1:26-31 says that as God created the human race in his own image, then Euthanasia is clearly unnatural. Romans 14:8 says, Whether we live or die, we belong to God this is strictly against Euthanasia, because it means that once we kill someone we are violating Gods wi ll. Finally however, there is one of the Ten Commandments in Exodus 20:73 which says, you shall not murder, and euthanasia is clearly a form of murder.But taking the issue away from church, there are many other reasons why people may believe Euthanasia is unjustified. One man refused treatment for his cancer, and he was literally days away from dying before the reality of the situation hit him and he changed his mind. Doctors were able to treat him and he survived, if it werent for this he wouldnt be alive today.Then take the case of John Merchant for example. One man, completely paralysed, unable to talk, move, feed himself his only communication is through the blinking of his eyes. Using codes, people have found out from him that he doesnt want to die. However had an onlooker seen him, they may well have decided that his life wasnt worth living and ended it for him. This brings about the question when is life worth living?But in other cases, Euthanasia may be the kindest option. Take the case of Chrissie Darley Jones. A woman able to move and talk and yet many believe her life isnt worth living (because she is 80% brain dead). Before she became brain dead she stated that she would want no medical intervention to keep her alive, however she is know having to be fed through a tube into her stomach. Doctors refuse to let her go. This is because there are times when a patient does not know what is best for them. We may think this is cruel, but as she is 80% brain dead, we have no way of knowing if she has changed her mind about life or if she is even happy, so doctors choose to keep her alive as they choose life over death.In conclusion, after having considered both sides of the argument, I personally find it impossible to choose a side. I strongly agree with all the reasons for and against Euthanasia, and I have come to the conclusion that is always going to be an unsolved issue. For example, in some cases Euthanasia can quite easily be justified but in othe rs I find it very hard to agree with, so a general allowance of Euthanasia seems unjust.

If he succeeds then it is likely that he will use them. With possession of nuclear weapons, Hussein could start a nuclear war and with all of the deadly weapons in the world today, this war could end the existence of earth. There is nothing to stop him from using weapons of mass destruction in war. There is also a nuclear arms treaty that he violating. He has been keeping inspectors out of his country since 1998. Why would he keep them out if he has nothing to hide? He is building nukes and he doesn't want anybody to take them away, that's why. Hussein is crazy enough to start a nuclear war. Although affirmative action was originally supported by the vast majority, that same majority is now starting to wonder if there is a better way. Commonly asked questions include: â€Å"Is affirmative action still working?† and â€Å"Is there an alternative?† The answers to each of these questions will provide insurmountable evidence that affirmative action in college admissions no longer fulfills its intended purpose and that the only viable alternative is to focus more attention on primary schooling for the underprivileged. The most common question that arises in contemporary debates over affirmative action is, â€Å"Does affirmative action still work as intended?† The original purpose of affirmative action in college admissions was to eliminate racial bias in the applicant selection process and provide a helping hand to disadvantaged minority students. Practicing Christianity means to practice a religion based on the belief in Jesus Christ. They believe that Jesus, by dying and rising from the dead, made up for the sin of Adam and thus redeemed the world, allowing all who believe in him to enter heaven. Christians rely on the Bible as the inspired word of God.The Bible is their book of direction, written by the disciples and followers of God and translated to them from Him so that the people will follow these directions for their daily lives. To them the word was breathed by God. It is even fair to say that one of the biggest differences between the two is that Christianity is more about the relationship with God rather than the religious practice. The Christian population believe that in order to truly worship God, one must get close to him and develop a relationship with him, with that, the closer you are to him, the more you will become like him.It is believed that God allows each and every Christian to develop and grow their own relationship with God so as to get to a place of love shared between the two. In a sense, if the love you have for God grows outside of a religious sense it is still acceptable by God, and the more the love grows the more you are accepted by him. Although, religious practices go hand in hand with worshiping him so the more love you have for God the more you will do at his command because you know it will show the love you have for him.Other big differences are the belief that God exist as one in three persons which includes The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. In the Muslim religion there is one God, or better known as Allah. Period. Its beliefs are different from the teaching of the Christian faith. To Muslims, there is but one God, and Jesus, is merely a prophet, just as Muhammad was, for the people, born a virgin, but created just as Adam and all mankind was. However, Muhammad is who was chosen by God. The people of Muslim faith do not believe in Jesus dying on the cross, because they do not believe thatGod would allow such a torturous death to one of his followers, with that though Christians believe the death was needed in order to show salvations for all the sins of the people. For the Muslim, the Qu'ran is their book of direction; however it was not created until after the bible. As the Christians believe that the Bible is the only holy word direct from God, Muslims believe the Qu'ran has just the same importance. Christians believe their bible to be the only word, and that nothing can be added or taken away from it which is exactly what the Islamic people did by erecting the Qu'ran.Because of these essential differences and contradictions, Islam and Christianity cannot both be true. The Bible and Qur’an cannot both be God’s Word. The truth has eternal consequences. As stated above both believe in an eternal reward for good deeds, but the way in which you receive them differ as well. Giving, this almsgiving is a certain percentage given once a year. Fasting. Muslims fast during Ramadan in the ninth month of the Islamic calendar.They must not eat or drink from dawn until sunset. Pilgrimage. If physically and financially possible, a Muslim must make the pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia at least once. This is performed in the twelfth m onth of the Islamic calendar. These five pillars, are what Muslim followers believe if lived by will assist them in obtaining eternal life with the God in which they serve. When comparing these two religions, the contrast is also apparent in their way of life as well. Education and marriage are also two things common in both religions and cultures but very different.One thing is certain when analyzing the union of marriage or the importance and significance of education in the Muslim faith, religion goes hand in hand with each of these subjects because faith and religious growth is what determines the lifestyle of Muslims in every aspect. The engagement is the biggest part of the wedding. Once the father has found a groom for his daughter, the wedding plans start rolling. However the woman should submit to the man in order to help their marriage to be successful.
